The original Jackalope Flaggerdoot cocktail lounge design draws upon the alchemic processes of distillation. This proposal emphasizes the alchemic search for the elixir of life, an experimental potion for immortality, explored through the distillation process. The space is sectioned into immortality and reality, demonstrated through the use of natural versus artificial light and durable versus maturing materials. This encourages the user to reflect on the mortal and immortal. The natural lighting features simultaneously introduce the circulation of air and light to control the temperature and atmosphere designed for the space.
